All hotel staff must strictly adhere to these guidelines to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and professional appearance of the hotel.

Purpose

The purpose of this Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is to establish guidelines for the use and maintenance of uniforms and hygiene for hotel staff.

Scope

This SOP applies to all hotel staff.

Procedure

Uniforms

  1. All hotel staff must wear the approved uniform while on duty.
  2. The uniform must be clean, pressed, and in good condition.
  3. The uniform must be worn properly and in accordance with the uniform policy.
  4. Staff must change into their uniform on site and not wear it outside of the hotel.

Hygiene

  1. All hotel staff must maintain good personal hygiene.
  2. Staff must shower or bathe daily and use deodorant.
  3. Staff must wear clean clothes, including undergarments, to work.
  4. Staff must maintain clean hair and nails.
  5. Staff must not wear strong perfumes or colognes that may interfere with the guest experience.
